Observe the colorful critters you spot swaying and swimming beneath the calm iridescent waters of Little Corona’a tidepools. If you’re lucky, you might even see an octopus! Friendly reminder, Little Corona is a no-take preserve, so please never pick up animals, shells, or rocks from the tidepools …. observe them where they are.

This gesture of love is too sweet for words, with adorable little waiters tripping over themselves to help and watching me eat each bite with pride on their faces.

Let’s be honest, though; there IS a downside to this Mother’s Day tradition, and I’m not the only woman to perceive it.
